Maria Benanti | Senior Associate

Coming to Chicago from Atlanta, Maria is excited to explore architecture and design here at Space.  After graduating with a masters degree from Rhode Island School of Design, she has been working in the industry with a background in interiors and adaptive reuse projects.  What she enjoys most about Chicago is being inspired by the architectural details found by exploring the city, and channeling this into her design process. 

When Maria isn’t in the studio, she enjoys the great outdoors by bike or foot, and traveling to National Parks.  A true multi-tasker, she is working on perfecting her homemade pizza dough, constantly watching movies and playing with her two cats, Sully and Cher.
